The Opportunity πŸš€

We are hiring a Commercial Legal Associate to work closely with our Head of Legal and help architect an AI-first legal function.

Part of your role will be serious commercial contract work across fast growing enterprise deals, part of your role will be picking up high value legal work in tandem with our Head of Legal and the final part will be building how legal operates in an AI native company.

This is a high ownership, high trust role at the centre of our commercial engine.

  • Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial contracts
  • Lead redlining across SaaS, services, licensing, content, software development, SLA and e-commerce agreements
  • Partner closely with Sales on fast moving, time sensitive enterprise deals
  • Act as the trusted second on high value negotiations

  • Draft and manage employment contracts
  • Handle visa applications and related regulatory matters

Build the AI-First Legal Engine πŸ€–

  • Centralise ad hoc legal requests into a structured system
  • Decide what is handled by you versus AI
  • Implement AI across contract review and internal workflows
  • Build playbooks that merge contracts and AI into one operating model

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise πŸš€

We think the ideal profile looks like:

  • 2 to 3 years as a commercial or contracts paralegal or in-house legal executive.
  • Strong commercial contract experience
  • But more importantly:
    • You are tech curious and AI leaning
    • You are commercially sharp and comfortable moving fast
    • You want broader ownership than traditional legal roles typically offer
    • You are interested in blending legal, operations and technology
