Commercial Legal Counsel (4–6 PQE) | Legal Tech & Automation | London
Are you a commercially focused lawyer looking for a role where you can have real impact beyond contract drafting?
We're working with an innovative, US-headquartered technology company that's investing in the growth of its legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with 4–6 years' PQE to join a fast-moving international business where you'll partner closely with commercial teams, embrace legal technology, and help shape how legal services are delivered.
What you'll be doing:
You'll support the business on a wide range of commercial matters, negotiating and advising on customer, supplier and technology agreements while working closely with Sales, Product and Operations.
Alongside your commercial legal work, you'll play a key role in improving the way the legal function operates. Whether it's refining templates, developing playbooks, implementing AI-enabled solutions or streamlining processes, you'll help drive a more efficient and scalable legal service.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
