About the Firm
Our client is a well-established and highly regarded law firm with a strong reputation for delivering pragmatic and commercially focused legal advice to businesses, professionals, and individuals across Hampshire and the surrounding regions.
Due to continued growth and an increasing volume of instructions, the firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join its busy Dispute Resolution team. The department handles a broad range of complex and high-quality contentious matters and offers an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to further develop their litigation career within a supportive and ambitious environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters from inception through to resolution, including:
- Commercial contract disputes
- Shareholder and partnership disputes
- Debt recovery and insolvency-related matters
- Professional negligence claims
- Property and landlord & tenant disputes
- Business and contractual disputes
- Alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and settlement negotiations
- Court proceedings and case management
- Client relationship management and business development activities

The role offers exposure to a diverse client base, including SMEs, owner-managed businesses, directors, shareholders, landlords, and commercial organisations.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with ideally 1+ years' post-qualification experience (PQE) in Commercial Litigation or Dispute Resolution
- Proven ability to manage a litigation caseload with appropriate supervision
- Strong technical knowledge of civil procedure and dispute resolution processes
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills
- Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and commercially minded approach
- Ambitious and motivated to develop within a growing team
