Commercial Dispute Resolution Solicitor 2+ PQE Devon Hybrid Working Available Competitive Salary and Excellent Benefits
A highly respected and growing regional law firm is seeking two Commercial Dispute Resolution Solicitors to join its thriving litigation team in Devon.
This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious litigation lawyers looking to handle a broad range of high-quality dispute resolution work while enjoying genuine career progression, flexibility, and a supportive team culture. The Opportunity
You'll join an established and expanding Commercial Dispute Resolution team acting for a diverse client base, including:
- SMEs and owner-managed businesses
- Larger corporate organisations
- In-house legal teams
- Insurers
- Private individuals
The team handles a broad range of contentious matters, providing plenty of variety and exposure to high-quality work.
Areas Of Work Include
- Commercial litigation
- Alternative dispute resolution (ADR)
- Asset and debt recovery
- Property disputes
- Shareholder and partnership disputes
- Director disputes
- Breach of contract claims
- Contentious probate and trust disputes
The Role
You will manage your own caseload while collaborating closely with experienced colleagues on larger and more complex matters.

Responsibilities Will Include
- Advising clients on dispute resolution strategy and risk management
- Managing commercial litigation matters from inception to conclusion
- Drafting correspondence, pleadings and court documents
- Conducting settlement negotiations and mediations
- Representing clients throughout court proceedings
- Developing strong client relationships
- Supporting business development and networking activities
- Contributing to the continued growth of the department
This role would suit a commercially minded solicitor who enjoys problem-solving and delivering practical, solutions-focused advice.
About You
Applications are welcomed from Solicitors or Chartered Legal Executives with approximately 2-5 years PQE, although candidates outside this range with relevant experience are encouraged.

- Strong commercial litigation experience
- Excellent technical and analytical skills
- Experience managing a varied caseload independently
- Strong drafting and advocacy skills
- Commercial awareness and client-focused thinking
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- A collaborative and team-focused approach
- An interest in business development and networking
