Senior Commercial Manager
Location: London (Exact Location TBC)
Salary: £80,000–£95,000 + Package
We are currently seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to join a highly respected independent consultancy delivering major infrastructure and energy programmes across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-value projects within sectors including infrastructure, power, utilities, renewables and energy.

The Role:
You will be responsible for managing the commercial and contractual aspects of major projects through the construction delivery phase. Working closely with clients, contractors and delivery teams, you will provide commercial leadership, manage risk, administer contracts and support successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer contracts under NEC and/or FIDIC forms of contract.
- Manage compensation events, change control, claims and variations.
- Prepare and review commercial reports, forecasts and project performance data.
- Provide commercial advice and support throughout project delivery.
- Identify, manage and mitigate commercial risks.
- Support procurement and contract management activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and key stakeholders.
- Ensure commercial compliance and governance requirements are met.
About You:
- 10+ years' experience working on major infrastructure, energy, utilities, power, renewables or BESS projects. (Essential)
- Strong contract administration experience under NEC and/or FIDIC contracts.
- Proven experience managing change, claims, variations and compensation events.
- Strong commercial reporting and cost management skills.
- Experience working within a client, consultant or contractor organisation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively within project teams.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline.
- Consultancy-side experience is preferred, however candidates from a contractor background will also be considered.
- MRICS qualified or actively working towards chartership is preferred.
