Job Title: Commercial Manager - Data Centre Project
Location: Somerset / Bristol
Salary: £110,000 - £120,000
Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Commercial Manager to spearhead a major data centre project in Mons. Valued at approximately £100 million. As the Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the commercial aspects of the project, ensuring its successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. This position demands a candidate with a proven track record in managing large-scale projects and a keen understanding of the unique challenges associated with data centre construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the commercial aspects of the data centre project, including budget management, contract negotiations, and risk assessment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between commercial objectives and project deliverables.
- Implement and enforce robust commercial and contractual processes to safeguard project interests.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, subcontractors, and the client to enhance project success.
- Provide strategic guidance on procurement and vendor selection to optimize project outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Manager in large-scale construction projects, particularly within the data centre sector.
- Strong financial acumen and proficiency in budget management.
- Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams towards project goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Construction Management).
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with data centre projects is highly desirable.
