Job Title

Commercial Manager

Salary

£50k-£60k + Equity

Company Description

AUAR is a London-based construction robotics company automating homebuilding with robotic MicroFactories. Backed by Planet A, PT1, Shadow Ventures, and ABB Robotics, they are scaling their platform, MasterBuilder, to make high-quality, sustainable homes affordable and accessible globally as they approach their Series A funding round.

Job Description

Working directly alongside the CEO, you will drive AUAR’s commercial engine through a critical Series A inflection point. You’ll manage the sales pipeline end-to-end, qualify global partners, and ensure commercial proposals align with product realities. This is a high-impact, hands-on role perfect for a strategic operator ready to build in the real world.

Location

London, UK

Why this role is remarkable

  • Work directly with the CEO and Growth Lead, gaining rare, behind-the-scenes exposure to a Series A fundraising process while driving international commercial expansion.
  • Join a mission-driven team backed by top investors like Planet A and ABB Robotics to solve the global housing crisis using cutting-edge robotic automation.
  • Experience an 11,000 sq ft R&D facility in London where you work alongside the very machines and building panels you are bringing to market.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What You Will Do

  • Own the partner pipeline end-to-end, managing qualification, business cases, and contract offers to maintain momentum during the company's next scaling phase.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Delivery, and Product teams to ensure every commercial deal is technically viable, accurately priced, and aligns with the deployment roadmap.
  • Conduct deep-dive market intelligence and technical qualification, translating complex robotics constraints into usable signals for the product roadmap and clear value propositions for homebuilders.

The ideal candidate

  • 2-5 years of experience in high-pressure environments like top-tier consulting, sales operations at a scale-up, or a founding-team commercial/GTM role.
  • Proven ability to master complex, technical products quickly and communicate value fluently to senior stakeholders in industries like construction, automation, or energy.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and high EQ, comfortable navigating ambiguity and travelling internationally to support high-stakes commercial conversations and site visits.
