Role: Commercial Manager

Salary: £50k plus benefits

Job Status: Full Time/ Permanent

Location: London - The role requires five days in the office (changing to four days after probation).

Vacancy Reference: VR/05442

Role Description:

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established facilities management organisation, for a Commercial Manager to join their London team.

Although this is a Commercial Manager position, the role is predominantly analytical and closely aligned to a finance-style function. The majority of the work involves detailed numerical analysis, working extensively with spreadsheets, cost information, forecasting, and budgeting activities. Accuracy, structure, and strong control of financial data are central to the role.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working in detail, interpreting large sets of financial information, and ensuring the quality and reliability of commercial reporting. A key part of the role is maintaining robust cost data, reviewing margins, and identifying inconsistencies or anomalies within financial outputs.

In addition, the role includes responsibility for overseeing a small team of Commercial Assistants and Coordinators, ensuring work is delivered accurately, efficiently, and to a consistently high standard.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
