Commercial Manager – UK & Ireland
Oxfordshire
£65K, bonus (20%), company car/£5k car allowance
Our client is the UK distributor for an international business that supplies equipment into the construction, industrial, agriculture and robotics industries. Renowned for its innovation and investment in cutting-edge testing facilities, the business has strengthened its capabilities and is able to quickly respond to global market leads.
This role, reporting into the Sales Director, will lead commercial operations for the UK & Ireland business and this will include pricing, order portfolio management, inventory, logistics, sales administration, and workshop scheduling.

Key Responsibilities
- Set and manage commercial pricing across dealer, direct, key account, and rental channels
- Produce machine profitability (P&L) analysis and margin reporting
- Manage the order portfolio against sales plans and forecasts
- Oversee inventory levels, stock turns, and ageing across the business
- Manage logistics, transport, storage, and workshop/PDI scheduling
- Lead the sales administration, reception, and PDI admin teams
- Monitor sales performance and provide commercial reporting/forecasting
- Administer core sales systems and reporting dashboards
- Work cross-functionally with sales, product support, workshop, parts, and finance
- Support the Sales Director with business planning, budgets, and board reporting

Candidate Profile
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- Experience managing inventory/supply chain in a sales environment
- Proven people management experience
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Strong communicator, comfortable working across departments
- Proactive, detail-focused, and customer-oriented
