Life on the team
The purpose of this role is to maintain and improve customer contribution in-life across complex GTS customer contracts. Aspects of the role include;-
- Provide high-level expertise within the specialist area to the peer group, Customers, and direct reports where appropriate.
- Responsible for managing P & L to maintain margins in line with customer agreements, creating value-add activities to increase contribution where possible.
- Manage and implement projects relevant to the specialist area to maximize contribution and minimize costs.
- Act as a point of escalation on complex technology sourcing issues and provide appropriate support to relevant GTS areas.
- Liaise with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure adoption of best practice and continual improvement in the delivery of high service levels to the business.
- Establish productive relationships and networks at Senior Management level to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
- Maintain confidentiality in all business-related matters.
What you'll do
- Demonstrate a creative and analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Develop effective relationships through influencing and advising.
- Source feedback from managers, peers, and customers to demonstrate ongoing credibility.
- Contribute to business strategy to help grow and develop the business in line with GTS targets.
- Achievement of high customer satisfaction levels.
- Effective cascade and delivery of team objectives.
- Has a good appreciation of contractual or commercial terms and conditions and can negotiate on them for Computacenter for specific customers.
- Has strong working relationships with Purchasing and Partner Management to work through complex commercial negotiations.
- Can build strong relationships with named suppliers.
- Can produce and analyze appropriate Group statistics/KPI’s/SLA’s and customer reporting where required.
- Can suggest and implement process improvements.
- Can work across multiple geographies to support Group wide process.

Performance indicators
- Ensure department meets SLA, KPI, and contribution targets.
- Support key customer contracts to maintain and improve contribution.
- Maintain & improve stakeholder satisfaction levels.
- Understand and adhere to GTS policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate strong data analytical skills using excel and Computacenter systems.
What you'll need
Skills and Experience needed
- A willingness to learn and to become the subject matter expert in Technology Sourcing and how it operates.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and excel skills along with the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- A proactive communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Commercially astute/experience or comparable qualification.
- Sound knowledge of MS-Office.
- Experience in the management of supplier contracts.
- Ability to analyze supplier financial statements for detailed insights.
- Advanced understanding of tools to track, measure, and forecast impacts of savings and demonstrate TS value.
- Able to create valuable performance metrics and processes to capture data.

Education and qualification
- Fully qualified in relevant professional qualification.
- Advanced academic background, preferably to a good degree level or equivalent.
- Proven track record of work experience in a challenging commercial environment.
- Proven commercial acumen.
- Good working knowledge of relevant functional systems.
- Experience in dealing with and influencing multi-tier management.
- Experience of developing best practice policies and procedures for functional areas.
This is a hybrid position - If successful, you will be required in our Hatfield Office (HQ) three days a week.
