London | Major Infrastructure & Energy Projects

I'm working with a well-established consultancy looking to appoint a Commercial Manager to support the delivery of major infrastructure and energy projects across the UK. This is an opportunity to join a growing commercial team working on high-profile programmes from construction through to delivery, providing commercial leadership and ensuring projects are delivered successfully under NEC contracts.

The Role

You'll be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of complex projects, working closely with clients, contractors, and project teams to protect commercial outcomes while supporting programme delivery. Key responsibilities include:

  • Administering contracts under NEC3/NEC4 (FIDIC experience would also be beneficial)
  • Managing compensation events, change control, variations, and claims
  • Preparing applications for payment, valuations, and commercial reports
  • Supporting cost forecasting, risk management, and financial reporting
  • Providing commercial advice throughout project delivery
  • Managing contractual communications and ensuring compliance with contract requirements
  • Building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders
  • Supporting negotiations and agreement of final accounts

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
