About the Role

COMMERCIAL MANAGER (Store Leadership — Massimo Dutti UK)

Reporting to: Store Director / General Manager

This is a senior managerial role with full commercial responsibility for the store’s performance. As Commercial Manager, you lead the commercial performance of the store. You use data, product insight and customer understanding to set priorities, drive sales and ensure the shopfloor is always aligned to what’s performing — while protecting Massimo Dutti’s premium standards.

You work closely with the Store Director / General Manager and wider leadership team, translating KPIs into clear actions, coaching teams to deliver consistently, and reacting quickly to trade with smart, timely decisions.

What You’ll Be Doing

Commercial Performance

  • Own and drive store commercial performance: sales, productivity and key KPIs, leading your team to understand targets and deliver results.
  • Analyse daily trade and product performance, turning insight into clear priorities and actions, translating insight into clear direction for your team.
  • Ensure strong product placement, availability and standards across key stories and best sellers, supporting the team to maintain high standards.
  • React quickly to performance changes, adjusting strategy to maximise results, motivating the team to adapt and respond with pace.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Partner with VM and Operations to ensure flow, replenishment and presentation support the commercial plan, coordinating the team to deliver strong execution.
  • Coach and influence teams to deliver a premium customer experience that drives conversion, developing the team through feedback and accountability.
  • Share commercial feedback and opportunities with store leadership and relevant teams, representing team insights clearly.

Standards, Compliance & Ways of Working

  • Support consistent execution of store routines, compliance and Health & Safety standards, setting expectations for consistent delivery.
  • Act as an ambassador for Inditex sustainability initiatives, role modelling behaviours across your team.

  • Strong commercial leadership experience in a premium retail environment (fashion desirable), helping your team stay organised and focused.
  • Confident using KPIs, sales reports and product insight to drive performance, guiding the team to act on priorities.
