Commercial Manager
Sub Division: Building Solutions (Special Projects)
Location: Rainham, Kent

VINCI Facilities is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our growing Building Solutions Special Projects team within the East Commercial Management Unit.

This is a key leadership role within a well-defined and expanding business structure. The Special Projects business model delivers a diverse and dynamic portfolio of works, including:

  • Refurbishment and remodelling
  • Repurposing and conversions
  • Extensions
  • EV infrastructure installations

Aligned to our ambitious business plan, this role will play a critical part in driving leadership accountability, customer excellence, employee engagement, cross-unit collaboration, and profitable growth.

The Role

As Commercial Manager, you will lead commercial activity across a portfolio of projects, ensuring strong governance, financial control, and performance delivery. You will work closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders to maximise value, mitigate risk, and support successful project outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic commercial leadership across multiple projects
  • Driving robust cost management, forecasting, CVR processes, and reporting
  • Leading change control, final accounts, and cash recovery activities
  • Managing and developing commercial teams to ensure high performance
  • Supporting operational teams to deliver projects efficiently and profitably
  • Ensuring strong contract management and risk mitigation practices
  • Embedding consistent commercial processes and continuous improvement

You will bring:

  • Significant senior commercial leadership experience within construction, refurbishment, or special projects
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Cost management and forecasting
    • CVR and financial reporting
    • Change control and final accounts
  • Cash recovery
  • Proven experience leading commercial teams and supporting operational delivery
  • Strong knowledge of contract management, risk mitigation, and commercial governance
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge constructively
  • A proactive, visible leadership style focused on performance, consistency, and continuous improvement
