The Opportunity
Liberty Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to take the lead on risk, opportunity, and commercial performance across a diverse portfolio of social housing, construction, and decarbonisation projects.
This is a highāimpact, senior role offering autonomy, flexibility, and the opportunity to shape commercial outcomes across longāterm maintenance contracts and exciting oneāoff construction schemes.
What Youāll Be Doing
Driving commercial entitlement through robust contract management Leading risk & opportunity management across live contracts Supporting and guiding commercial and QS teams Managing change, performance, and dispute avoidance Acting as a client-facing commercial lead, negotiating best outcomes Deputising for the Commercial Director ā Operations when required
Projects span repairs & maintenance, heating & compliance, gas, EICR, and decarbonisation/renewables.
Location & Working Pattern
š Hybrid ā typically 2 days per week, occasionally 3 š Travel across the South, Key locations include Oxfordshire, Kent, Cambridge & Swindon š§ Southern Home Counties focus ā±ļø Manage your own time
What Weāre Looking For
Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management Strong background in social housing, property services or construction Sound knowledge of NEC, JCT, NHF or similar contracts Confident communicator, negotiator, and commercial leader
