We’re looking for a Commercial Manager to develop and execute pricing strategies focused on retention. Including managing reactive pricing toolkits for retention scenarios and designing proactive campaigns to improve base value.

Job Title: Commercial Manager

Salary: Up to £35,000

Location: Cheadle

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:30/9:00 - 17:00/17:30 (37.5 hours)

This is an office-based role.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Commercial Manager, you will:

  • Develop and manage retention pricing strategies, including reactive toolkits for customer retention.
  • Design and implement proactive campaigns aimed at improving base value and driving customer loyalty.
  • Collaborate with product teams and Commercial Transformation to align pricing strategies with sector objectives.
  • Manage pricing for product end-of-life activities to ensure smooth transitions and maintain profitability.
  • Work directly with sales teams to optimise discount portfolio and maximise returns.
  • Conduct business cases and commercial assessments on pricing proposals to ensure strategic alignment and profitability.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in retention pricing and commercial assessments.
  • Knowledge of segment dynamics and retention strategies.
  • Ability to interpret market trends, competitor analysis, and customer data to inform pricing decisions.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills across product, sales, and commercial teams.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organisational and planning abilities.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
