Commercial Manager
Location: Maidstone, Kent
Position Type: Permanent, Full Time
VINCI FM is seeking an experienced and driven Commercial Manager to join our Government Management Unit within the Special Projects Business Unit.
This is a high-profile opportunity to play a key role in delivering a diverse portfolio of works for public sector clients across London, the South East, and wider UK regions. Operating within a framework-led environment, you will work on long-term, repeat business with major government clients including justice, emergency services, and central government bodies, across secure and highly regulated sites.
Key Responsibilities
As Commercial Manager, you will:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the commercial team across the Management Unit
- Take full ownership of commercial performance, including forecasting, CVR, margin, and cash recovery
- Ensure robust commercial governance, contract compliance, and risk management
- Support and contribute to work-winning activity and profitable business growth
- Partner closely with operational leadership to drive improved project performance and outcomes

About You
We are looking for a commercially astute, proactive leader who can influence at all levels and thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment.
You will have:
- Proven experience in a Commercial Manager / Senior Commercial role within construction, FM, or infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of commercial controls, contracts, and financial management
- A track record of delivering performance across framework-led or public sector environments
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
- A valid CSCS Card

Security Clearance
Due to the nature of the work, this role will require security clearance to operate within Government and secure establishments. Clearance can be obtained post-offer; however, achieving this will be a requirement for passing probation.
