Commercial Manager - Own Label FTC

Commercial Manager – Own Label 12-month FTC

Hybrid (3 days a week in the office) – Leeds

Competitive salary, up to 25% bonus and benefits

We have an excellent opportunity to join Birds Eye as a Commercial Manager – Own Label on a 12-month Maternity Cover, accountable for the planning and delivery of a profitable growth plan within the Birds Eye, Aunt Bessies and Goodfella’s brands.

Utilising category and consumer insight to influence the customer and delight the shopper at points of purchase to achieve key business targets

About the role…

Day to day management of wider business functions (Category, Marketing, Finance and Supply) to ensure the team are all working towards one goal for the Own Label Channel, working closely with Aldi and Lidl.

Responsibilities:

Generate consumer specific business through developing JBPs, using category/shopper Build partnerships with Lidl and Aldi stakeholders to develop, manage & execute Joint Business Plans managing to achieve both your own and the customer’s Sales, Profit & Share targets. You will have full account P&L ownership for set categories P&L management circa £50m+ Monitoring portfolio effectiveness via company tool kit. Manage customer product mix and align with strategic brand and category guidelines. Selling and negotiating of new listings. Delivering profitable growth for the account.

About you…

We need a driven and experienced commercial professional that is an expert within the Own Label channel.

FMCG Sales / Account Management experience highly desirable. Experience within Own Label is essential. Experience of managing Lidl and/or Aldi Own Label is highly desirable. Must have experience of managing a P&L. Strong stakeholder management skills and proactive in communication. Understanding of teamwork and promoting high performing behaviours.
