THE ROLE The Commercial function at FARFETCH manages supply and pricing on the FARFETCH marketplace in order to drive profitable growth. Working across the business, we deliver at-scale commercial programmes which drive benefits for FARFETCH, our customers, and our partners.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial - Pricing, you will lead cross-functional commercial strategy across global markets and partner with senior leadership on investment-style decisions shaping the business.

Operating at the intersection of commercial strategy, data, and pricing, you will define the scope, own the roadmap, and drive high-impact projects. You will work seamlessly with leaders across Marketing, Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Data Science to bring your strategic vision to life and optimize our positioning within key markets.

What You'll Do

Drive Strategy & Insights: Lead the generation of high-level, action-driven insights. Present executive summaries to leadership to shape business strategy and proactively identify opportunities to optimize pricing and profitability on Farfetch. Build Business Cases & Tools: Construct robust business cases, analytical frameworks, and tools that empower senior leadership to make sharper, data-backed commercial decisions. Team Management & Development: Potential to manage direct reports and build a high-performing team, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous learning within the Commercial function. Architect Solutions: Oversee the development of scalable tools, processes, and reporting frameworks (partnering with our BI and Product team) to continuously monitor our pricing position and mitigate risks across global markets. Own End-to-End Projects: Direct and manage the full lifecycle of complex, cross-functional projects to improve our price position, securing buy-in and support from senior stakeholders across the business. Senior Business Partnering: Act as the primary strategic partner and subject matter expert to a wide spectrum of key stakeholders, both in and out of the Commercial team. Influence Partner Strategy: Guide the Brand Partnership, Business Development, and Account Management teams, providing them with the frameworks needed to successfully influence and optimize the pricing strategies of our boutique and brand partners. Guide Merchandising & Finance: Collaborate with Merchandising to translate complex data into actionable trading decisions, and partner with Finance to validate forecasting models, ensuring business targets are met. Product Development: Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to define and implement a robust feature roadmap that empowers our Partners to effectively manage their pricing on the platform.

Who You Are

Experience: Experience in Strategy, Analytics, e-Commerce, or Consulting at manager level Technically Proficient: You possess strong technical skills for processing and analyzing large datasets: Excel (advanced) and SQL (required), with the ability to translate complex data into clear executive narratives. Strategic & Operational Thinker: You have a deeply strategic mindset combined with a relentless focus on operational and commercial excellence. Proven Influencer: You have a track record of driving change, securing buy-in, and confidently partnering with senior leadership on investment-style decisions. Effective Communicator: You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of distilling complex commercial concepts for non-technical audiences. Organized Leader: You demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously. (Desirable): An understanding of the fashion and luxury industry ecosystem
