SQS / Commercial Manager (Experience in pre-contract and tendering within major infrastructure projects)

£75p/hr – Outside IR35 – Subject to QDOS assessment

Project – NTSP
Hours – 40 hour week. – 3 days office, 2 remotely. (Tuesday, Wed, Thurs preferred) Although negotiable.
Duration – 3 years
We are seeking an SQS / Commercial Manager for a 36-month contract, based in Glasgow, Scotland.

Role Overview
The role will involve developing procurement strategies, contract management plans and ITT processes (including supporting competitive and compliant tender submissions). The successful candidate will manage the tender process end-to-end, including preparation of documentation, commercial evaluation of bids, and supplier negotiations to achieve best value outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:

- Cost planning, estimating, and benchmarking
- Tender preparation, evaluation, and negotiation
- Procurement strategy development
- Commercial risk identification and pricing
- Stakeholder engagement across bid, design, and delivery teams
- Experience in pre-contract and tendering within major infrastructure projects, with strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
MRICS and/or MCIPS preferred
