Job Title: Commercial Manager

Location: Glasgow (2-3 days onsite) Hybrid & flexible working arrangements available – discuss options with your recruiter

Salary: £60,000 (decreasing on skills and experience)

Job Description

This senior Commercial Manager role involves collaborating with Business Development and Integrated Delivery to shape new product strategies, including commercial models and contract routes. You’ll lead and oversee end-to-end commercial activity, from contract preparation to negotiation, while providing mentorship to your team.

Core Duties

  • Build and maintain financial models to assess opportunities and support commercial decision-making
  • Draft, review, and clarify contract documents (e.g., Terms & Conditions, NDAs), explaining implications to stakeholders
  • Mentor, develop, and empower a high-performing team, fostering inclusion and collaboration
  • Lead contract negotiations with governance and business alignment

Essential Skills

  • Degree educated OR equivalent commercial experience, preferably in defence or regulated industries
  • Proven track record in leading, developing, and supporting diverse teams in a collaborative culture
  • Experience driving end-to-end commercial activities, including:
    • Strategy development
    • Contract management
    • Risk mitigation
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to influence decisions and achieve commercial success

The Commercial Export Team

A fast-paced, customer-facing role focused on international, B2B, and UK MOD contracts for munitions products and services. You’ll work closely with Business Development, collaborate across multiple business lines, and build relationships with stakeholders globally.
