Quantity Surveyor Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial and financial performance of a Data Centre project in Woking. This is a high-impact role where you’ll provide strategic guidance, ensure contractual compliance, and drive value while protecting project integrity and client interests.
What You’ll Do:
- Act as commercial interface between clients, project teams, and subcontractors.
- Implement project-specific commercial strategies for a complex data centre build.
- Maintain full visibility of financial position, change control, and risk exposure.
- Own cost planning: prepare budgets, forecasts, and advise on design changes.
- Oversee procurement: define strategy, manage tendering, and approve contracts.
- Manage contracts: control changes, produce cost reports, and support dispute resolution.
- Mentor junior commercial staff and promote commercial awareness across teams.

- Proven experience in commercial management within data centre construction or large-scale technical project
- Strong knowledge of cost planning, procurement, and contract administration.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and foster collaboration.
