Commercial Managing Director, UK
London based, hybrid working
We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Managing Director, UK to lead and drive growth across the UK market, ensuring the achievement of financial and strategic targets as part of Blis’ broader business objectives. As one of the most important revenue-generating regions for Blis, the UK requires a leader who can balance accelerated revenue growth with a reputation for excellence in client service.
This role involves overseeing the day-to-day management of the UK sales, setting ambitious targets, and developing a robust commercial framework to drive scalable growth. You will have significant autonomy in executing KPIs, working closely with senior members of the leadership team to shape strategic objectives and implement long-term expansion plans. Maintaining a strong, inclusive, and dynamic culture across the London office is essential to the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive commercial and strategic performance with full UK P&L responsibility, ensuring financial targets are met as approved by the Board of Directors.
- Oversee functional areas across UK Sales and Ad Operations, building, mentoring, and maintaining a high-performing team.
- Develop and execute annual and quarterly plans for business growth within the UK, aligned with Blis’ global objectives.
- Negotiate and secure partnerships with major agency groups and direct clients, enhancing Blis’ market presence and revenue streams.
- Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities, channels, and revenue-generating partnerships.
- Provide strategic market insights and competitive analysis to ensure the UK business remains forward-thinking and innovative.
- Oversee FTE headcount planning to ensure the company is adequately resourced to support scalable growth.
- Maintain and enhance a vibrant, inclusive culture within the London office, ensuring teams are well-informed on UK developments and corporate strategy.
- Input the UK’s requirements into the global engineering product roadmap to drive continuous innovation.
- Represent Blis at senior agency client meetings, industry events, and external forums to enhance brand reputation.
- Win awards and establish Blis as a leading omnichannel DSP.

Skills & Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience in commercial and strategic roles within digital advertising, programmatic, or mobile sales.
- Strong track record of P&L management and delivering revenue growth within the UK market.
- Extensive network of relationships with agencies, brands, and other key stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience in building and managing high-performing sales and operations teams.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, balancing strategic vision with tactical execution.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, capable of influencing at the highest levels.
- Commitment to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
