Commercial Officer

Commercial Officer Location: Bristol/Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Supporting capture teams to achieve business success by developing accurate, timely, and innovative contractual solutions in collaboration with customers and partners.
  • Drafting and negotiating contract terms with customers using proven strategies, engaging the appropriate subject-matter experts.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks in proposals and contracts, putting in place effective risk management strategies.
  • Providing trusted guidance on new and existing business agreements, ensuring clarity of obligations for both Rolls-Royce and customers.

Who We’re Looking For

We seek individuals who embody our core principles: safety, integrity, clarity, and impact. Key requirements include:

  • Strong business and commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret contracts and influence deal components.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for all levels of engagement.
  • Proven collaboration capabilities, with strengths in cross-functional teamwork.
  • A background in commercial and contracting, while security clearance eligibility (UK/dual national) is mandatory for Defence roles.

Rolls-Royce will sponsor security clearance applications where applicable.
