About the role
We are looking for a Commercial Operations Analyst to ensure all front-office operational activities required to support the trading desks are executed accurately and efficiently within defined timescales so that traders have a real-time, accurate view of their trading positions, enabling robust P&L reporting.
Location: The role is based out of our central London office (near Marble Arch) with 3 days per week in the office. Occasional international travel to other Centrica Energy offices will also be required.

Responsibilities
- Operate defined processes and controls to enable trades to be executed and booked accurately in the relevant ETRMs, ensuring timeliness, validity, and accuracy.
- Act as a Trade Lifecycle Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all traded products. Keep up-to-date with systems, exchanges, and rules to ensure traders compliantly operate within the markets.
- Proactively respond to and resolve trade lifecycle issues and queries, ensuring a seamless process and intraday resolution.
- Drive operational improvements and support the implementation of automated solutions for efficiency in front-office support activities to facilitate continuous progress.
Requirements
Essential experience and skills:
- Experience in a Trading or other fast-paced, high-delivery/high-accuracy systems/deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous problems in a highly pressurised, real-time trading environment.
- Excellent knowledge of all aspects of the trade lifecycle.
- Previous Endur experience or deep knowledge of the platform.
- Strong delivery, compliance, and accuracy track record.
