📍 Wilmslow (Hybrid: 3 days office, 2 days WFH)

💰 £43,000 – £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

🕒 Full-time, 40 hours per week


About Equilibrium Healthcare

Equilibrium Healthcare operates specialist dementia and mental healthcare facilities across Greater Manchester. The group also includes additional businesses, such as recruitment and investment companies, under the same ownership.


About the Role

The Commercial Operations Lead will collaborate closely with the Commercial Director, supporting the delivery of key commercial, operational, commissioning and strategic priorities across the Group.

This is an analytical, hands-on role requiring:

  • Strong organisation, commercial awareness, financial confidence and the ability to create structure across multiple, varied workstreams.
  • The skill to translate strategic priorities and plans into clear delivery timelines, actions, trackers, reports, governance material and measurable outcomes.

The role spans:

  • Commercial projects
  • Commissioning support
  • Financial analysis
  • Internal process improvements
  • Stakeholder management

The ideal candidate will act as a direct extension of the Commercial Director, driving delivery and turning priorities into meaningful, tangible results.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support and deliver commercial, commissioning, operational and development projects, ensuring objectives are met effectively.
  • Break down strategic priorities into actionable timelines, tasks and follow-ups with clear accountability.
  • Assist with commissioning and marketing initiatives as required.
  • Work with financial models, trackers, reports and decision-support analysis.
  • Prepare board packs, governance materials, reporting cycles and meeting documentation.
  • Support internal restructuring, process improvements, system implementation and contract renewals.
  • Coordinate with commissioners, partners, advisers and internal stakeholders.
  • Own cross-functional tasks that do not fit neatly under a single business unit.

About You

We are looking for someone who thrives in order, drive and momentum. Ideal qualities include:

  • Strong commercial aptitude and financial literacy with confidence in using Excel.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proactive and hands-on, able to create structure without constant supervision.
  • Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changeable priorities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a being clear, concise and confident.
  • Detail-oriented, reliable and discreet when handling delicate information.
  • Approachable and relationship-focused, with the ability to engage seamlessly across teams and departments.
