Joining an Exciting Insurtech Scale-Up

Our client is a dynamic, fast-growing Insurtech business revolutionising the Specialty Insurance market through innovative Policy Administration technology. Having achieved impressive early commercial success and securing strong financial backing, they are expanding rapidly. This creates a brand-new Commercial Operations Manager / Lead role where you’ll collaborate closely with the CEO, building operational foundations to support scaling while driving customer engagement, commercial strategy, and growth initiatives.

This opportunity is ideal for someone seeking a non-traditional operations role—acting as a strategic partner capable of influencing the business’s future while enjoying broad exposure to growth and innovation.

The Role

The CEO, an accomplished entrepreneur, is refocusing on high-level strategy. This role is about transforming operational momentum—you’ll:

  • Take ownership of commercial and day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Act as the trusted business partner to the CEO, coordinating customer-facing engagements and strategic growth areas.
  • Lead across technology, product, and commercial functions, ensuring alignment with customer success.
  • Operate in a highly dynamic, start-up environment, switching fluidly between leadership, stakeholder management, and commercial strategy.

This is a high-visibility leadership position—ideal for someone who thrives in complexity, enjoys variety, and can drive change while maintaining momentum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as an Enterprise Operations and Strategy Manager, shaping processes for continued growth.
  • Work alongside the CEO as the primary operational contact, facilitating decision-making.
  • Align internal teams (technology, product, commercial) and external stakeholders (customers, brokers, global partners).
  • Implement scalable operational systems to sustain momentum during expansion.
  • Oversee customer engagement, including meetings, demos, and high-value proposals.
  • Drive business development initiatives—identifying commercial opportunities and scaling relationships.
  • Support end-to-end customer implementations, ensuring satisfaction and smooth adoption of the company’s Policy Administration platform.
  • Collaborate with international development teams, ensuring customer requirements and business goals remain consistent.
  • Lead high-impact projects, removing blockers and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and growth strategies tailored to the portfolio.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
