An exciting opportunity to join a growing department in a global real estate company working within the Commercial Operations & Revenue team as a Junior Analyst in our Birmingham office.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys numbers, problem-solving, and partnering with stakeholders — and wants to grow their career in a dynamic, commercial environment.
Role Purpose
Provide finance support to the Property Management and financial reporting teams with particular emphasis on arranging the billing, accruals, and variance analysis vs forecast.
Core Responsibilities
- Liaise with the Property Managers and Partners to ensure the forecast is kept up to date, querying and understanding any changes.
- Raise fees in line with the forecast, ensuring correct coding is used.
- Investigate and explain variances against forecast, preparing clear commentary and discussing findings with Partners each month.
- Process ad hoc fees and credits as required.
- Prepare and submit monthly accruals with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support Client Accounting with any service charge year-end queries.
- Monitor aged corporate fees, helping to resolve outstanding items and improve debt performance.
- Provide analytical and administrative support to the Commercial Operations & Revenue Manager on ad hoc projects and reporting.

Candidate Required Skills
- A solid understanding of financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Strong Excel capability — including lookups, pivot tables, SUMIFS, and confident formatting.
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to confidently prioritise and manage multiple deadlines.
- A proactive mindset — comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
- Experience in the Property Services industry is beneficial but not essential.
Candidate Required Qualifications
- AAT qualified or ACCA/CIMA/ACA part qualified
- Finance-related Master of Science degree
- Qualified by experience with demonstrable financial analysis capability.
Working Details
This is a hybrid working role. Circa 3 days a week required in the Birmingham office.
