Commercial Partnerships Lead

Location: Remote (London)
Salary: up to £65k + Bonus

The Opportunity

We're partnering with an exciting media and content business looking for a commercially driven Commercial Partnerships Lead to drive revenue growth across a portfolio of premium content, events, and media platforms.

This is an opportunity for someone who thrives on developing strategic commercial relationships, identifying new revenue opportunities, and creating innovative partnership solutions. You'll own the full sales cycle, working closely with internal teams to deliver high-impact campaigns that generate real commercial value.

The Role

Business Development

  • Drive new business revenue across a portfolio of premium media products.
  • Identify and secure new commercial partnerships with leading organizations.
  • Build and execute strategic sales plans aligned to market opportunities.
  • Develop and manage a healthy pipeline of prospective commercial partners.
  • Increase market awareness of the company's commercial offering.

Partnership Development

  • Build long-term relationships with senior commercial decision-makers.
  • Own the partnership lifecycle from prospecting through to negotiation and onboarding.
  • Structure commercially successful partnership agreements that deliver value for both parties.
  • Work closely with internal account management teams to ensure seamless campaign delivery.

Commercial Strategy

  • Develop creative commercial solutions including integrated campaigns, sponsorships, and bespoke activations.
  • Collaborate with creative and production teams to build compelling partnership opportunities.
  • Help shape future commercial products and scalable revenue opportunities.
  • Ensure all commercial activity supports both audience engagement and business growth.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging commercial opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting.
  • Analyze campaign performance to identify future growth opportunities.
  • Continually refine commercial strategy based on market insight.

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with creative, production, and account management teams.
  • Partner with senior leadership to support wider commercial objectives.
  • Contribute to business planning and strategic growth initiatives.

About You

You'll likely have experience within:

  • Media Sales
  • Sponsorship Sales
  • Commercial Partnerships
  • Business Development
  • Advertising Sales
  • Content Partnerships

You'll also bring:

  • Proven success delivering new business revenue.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent presentation and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience creating commercially attractive partnership opportunities.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles from prospecting through to close.
  • Strong understanding of the media, content, or advertising landscape.
  • Experience within sports, entertainment, or media would be advantageous.
