About The Role: Account Manager (European Partnership Team)
The Account Manager role is an exciting opportunity in our European Partnership team to directly influence the commercial success of our Partners.
We are looking for a strategic and commercially driven e-commerce Leader to join our European Partnership team. In this hybrid role, you will:
- Own the strategy to drive online growth for our partners
- Ensure commercial success, operational efficiency, and international scalability
- Work 2 days per week in office (Hatfield, UK) and 3 days remotely
- Require regular travel to partners’ offices and operational sites
Key Responsibilities
Account Development
- Develop, update, and own partnership strategy aligned with partner’s e-commerce goals, focusing on market share growth and operational optimisation
- Oversee overall delivery of partnership goals, including:
- Building a strong internal collaboration network
- Securing appropriate support to meet goals
- Serving as the primary interface between Ocado and the partner
- Pursue new commercial opportunities, including:
- Creative idea generation
- Business case development
- Commercial negotiation
- Implementation oversight
- Ensure Operations support Growth and teams align with objectives and KPIs

Partner Growth
- Shape and deliver strategies to help partners grow and improve commercial outcomes
- Leverage data for reporting to internal/external stakeholders, highlighting trends and growth opportunities
- Provide actionable recommendations for partners to implement
- Become an expert on:
- OSP features supporting growth
- Maximising feature utilisation for partner goals
- Deliver against agreed goals while maintaining strong market awareness for timely recommendations
About You
Requirements
- Fluency in English (essential)
- European language fluency (French/Spanish/Polish/Swedish = desirable)
- Proven track record (1+ years) in one or more areas:
- Online growth strategies in direct-to-consumer business with complex logistics (grocery e-commerce experience is highly valued)
- Retail/strategy management consulting, with growth/logistics focus
- Hypergrowth startups/scale-ups
- Data-driven marketing, consumer insight, and e-commerce passion/familiarity
- Experience with KPI optimisation (user growth, conversion, LTV)
- Data usage skills to:
- Understand customer journeys
- Identify improvements
- Measure performance
- Highly analytical skills to drive insights for partners
- Deep knowledge of financial statements/P&L
- Ability to create strategies with imperfect data
- Highly commercial mindset to identify high-impact opportunities for growth and profitability
- Passion for grocery retail and understanding of key commercial/digital drivers
- Optional: E-commerce operations or international professional/student experience
