About The Role

We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join the Parcels Planning team.

This role will report to the Commercial Planning Manager and support commercial planning, forecasting, latest estimates, statistical analysis and performance modelling. You'll help develop the analytical insight that underpins commercial decisions by combining business understanding with statistical techniques, causal analysis and AI-assisted workflows. You’ll help make sure the team has the right data, reporting and analysis needed to understand business performance and make better decisions.

The Commercial Planning Manager will own the overall planning rhythm, including budgeting, 4+8 forecasting, monthly latest estimates and commercial deep dives. Your role will be to support that process by preparing analysis, maintaining key reporting outputs, investigating performance movements and helping turn data into clear insight.

The Parcels business moves quickly, with many variables across countries, items, partners, parcel types, pricing, demand and inventory. We need someone who enjoys investigating why performance changes, is naturally curious about causal relationships rather than simply reporting numbers, and is interested in applying statistical techniques and modern AI tools to improve analysis and forecasting.

This is a great role for someone who is already strong in commercial analysis, confident working with data, and able to quickly understand a fast-moving business. You’ll need to bring structure, accuracy and sharp analytical thinking from day one, helping the Commercial Planning Manager and wider Planning team make better decisions.

What You’ll Do

  • You’ll support the Commercial Planning Manager with the monthly latest estimate process, helping prepare the data, analysis and reporting needed to understand expected performance across key markets.
  • You’ll help maintain regular planning and commercial reporting across sales, demand, revenue, margin, orders, AOV, conversion, item performance and other key Parcels KPIs.
  • You’ll prepare analyses that help explain performance movements, risks and opportunities across countries, categories, parcel types, partners and customer behaviour.
  • You'll use AI tools responsibly to accelerate analysis, generate code, automate repetitive analytical tasks, validate findings and improve productivity while maintaining appropriate analytical rigour.
  • You’ll support budget and forecast cycles by helping gather inputs, check assumptions, prepare data cuts and analyse movements versus previous forecasts, budget or actual performance.
  • You’ll run ad hoc analysis to answer specific commercial and operational questions from the Commercial Planning Manager, AD of Planning and wider Parcels team.
  • You’ll help identify where assumptions are working, where they are not, and where further investigation may be needed.
  • You’ll support data quality checks, helping spot inconsistencies, missing data or reporting issues before they impact planning outputs.
  • You’ll help create simple, clear outputs that can be used in planning reviews, leadership updates and commercial discussions.
  • You'll work with the BI Developer to consume trusted reporting datasets and with the Commercial Planning Manager to translate analytical findings into commercial recommendations.
  • You’ll help the team move away from manual, one-off data pulls towards more repeatable and scalable ways of working.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
