About the Facilities Team

Our dedicated team works tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that every corner of our facilities is in top-notch condition, ready to host thrilling matches and memorable events.

From managing the upkeep of our stadium and training grounds to overseeing logistics for game days, we are committed to excellence in every detail.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will be responsible for fault-finding, rectification, and testing of plumbing and heating systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. You will also carry out small installations and project works, contributing to the improvement and enhancement of our facilities. Your expertise will extend to inspecting and testing mechanical systems, including Temperature Control Valves (TMVs) and legionella compliance, ensuring all systems meet regulatory standards.

As part of the maintenance team, you will participate in the reactive call-out rota and assist with general maintenance tasks as needed. Keeping accurate records of completed works is crucial, and you will liaise effectively with fellow maintenance staff and management to ensure seamless operations. You will also manage and support contractors while adhering to the Club’s security, stock control, and key holder procedures. A strong understanding of our Health & Safety Policy is essential, alongside excellent organisational and communication skills. Your proactive approach to tasks, commitment to exceptional customer service, and logical thinking during fault-finding situations will be key to ensuring the safeguarding of Academy players, young fans, and vulnerable adults in our care.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
