About the Role

This is a deal-closing role—the commercial engine of procurement where initiative drives impact. You’ll:

  • Find the money by identifying overpayments and negotiating hard
  • Build and execute cost-saving strategies for global corporate spend
  • Champion resilience in the supplier ecosystem, balancing sustainability with value
  • Act as a data-driven strategist who challenges change resistance and turns insights into tangible savings

You are highly autonomous, a self-starter with an accountability mindset. Dott needs someone who won’t wait for briefs—instead, proactively follows the dollar across vendors, categories, and geographies.

The Role & Your Impact

1. Commercial Negotiations & Savings Delivery (Primary Focus)

  • Lead end-to-end contract negotiations for critical vendors, supplying:
    • Strategic negotiation plans (objectives, BATNA, walkaway positions)
    • Market benchmarking for competitive pressure
  • Challenge the status quo: Push back on ambiguous contracts, resist supplier loyalty bias, and expose hidden costs
  • Close deals with measurable, cashable savings, tracking directly on the P&L
  • Generate competitive tension in every sourcing event, even with underperforming incumbents

Key Outcomes: ✔ Monthly savings reporting vs. target ✔ Revenue protection via robust contract terms (lead times, quality service SLAs) ✔ Avoidance of scope creep (rigorous deal review processes)

2. Procurement Strategy & Execution

  • Develop short-and long-term strategies aligned with Dott’s business priorities
  • Focus ruthlessly on high-impact spend, sweating assets first, acting selectively on new opportunities
  • Embed automation to minimise manual effort, maximising time on negotiation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
