OVERVIEW

NEXT is the newly launched innovation hub inside Fifty5Blue, the global leader in media measurement and analytics operating in more than 80 countries. NEXT is a new, ring-fenced innovation unit being built from the ground up, with a clear mandate to launch the next generation of AI-native audience-intelligence products — modernizing our cross-media engine, expanding our audience measurement solutions, and investing in AI capabilities.

Why join this incredible program? NEXT is being built from the ground up - you will shape both the product and the operating model. Flexible work model: London (one pod is being built in our London office) or fully remote with regular travel for in person collaboration. Hybrid by default; we trust our teams to find the right balance.

THE ROLE

NEXT's Commercial Product Lead owns the bridge between product and market. The role combines three things: ongoing engagement with customers and internal commercial teams to validate product-market fit, deep client engagement for scoped proof of concepts, and positioning and packaging for new products as they approach pilot to support go-to-market strategy for the products that graduate to scale. You'll work in lockstep with Fifty5Blue's existing commercial teams — leveraging their relationships, and ensuring successful adoption at scale.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client engagement

  • Lead the commercial relationship with design partners across initiatives in partnership with relevant commercial teams at Fifty5Blue
  • Convert customer feedback into structured product-market-fit signals NEXT can act on (e.g. writing business requirement documents for product and engineering teams)
  • Identify and pre-qualify the next wave of pilot customers — platforms, agencies, advertisers, and digital natives – in partnership with Fifty5Blue’s global commercial teams
  • Identity and engage with product partners where required for successful pilot delivery

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Work with Fifty5Blue's account teams on the integration path for NEXT products into the core P&L
  • Carry initiatives through the Hub's five-stage cycle from a commercial lens, ensuring commercial readiness keeps pace with technical readiness.

CAPABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE

What You’ll Bring (Required)

  • Extensive commercial / product marketing / business-development experience in measurement, ad tech, media, or analytics.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience launching a new product line within a larger commercial organisation (the NEXT-to-core graduation dynamic is similar).
  • Working familiarity with the measurement competitive landscape (third party measurement companies, Joint Industry Committees, and media owner proprietary solutions).
  • Comfort with both buy-side and sell-side conversations - this role needs to speak both languages.

How we work

Fifty5Blue’s core values are: Clarity, Independence, and Impatience. At NEXT, we live those values – moving at pace, with high degree of transparency and collaboration, and a commitment to testing and failing fast. We move in weeks not months, days not weeks; we make decisions quickly and in the open; we celebrate good kills as much as good launches.
