We're seeking a Commercial Product Manager in London in our Retail Practice to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact. 6–9-month contract assignment-temporary employee (PAYE) opportunity working via an Umbrella company. Hybrid role 2-3 days a week onsite in London

Summary

As a Commercial Product Manager, you will drive the strategic development and roadmap of our commercial products, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet evolving business needs. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that our product vision is clear, prioritised, and executed effectively. This demanding position requires a strategic thinker who can navigate complexity, champion user-centric design, and deliver tangible value to our organisation and customers.

You Will

  • Lead the discovery and analysis activities to identify market opportunities and customer needs
  • Define and prioritise user stories and use cases in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication and manage expectations across multiple departments
  • Conduct proactive backlog management, ensuring clarity and prioritisation of deliverables
  • Drive the product strategy in an agile environment, adapting to changing requirements and market conditions
  • Demonstrate strong stakeholder management capabilities, building consensus and driving alignment
  • Work alongside the product team to establish priorities for discovery and delivery activities
  • Champion a user-first mindset, ensuring accessibility and usability remain central to all product decisions

Ideally, We'd Like

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar strategic product role
  • Experience working within retail or commercial environments
  • Strong familiarity with agile methodologies and product development frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to evolving priorities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
