Senior Commercial Property Manager
My client is a forward-thinking commercial property management business that's redefining how assets are managed. Operating as an independent and agile consultancy, they combine outstanding client service with innovative technology to deliver a proactive, transparent, and modern approach to commercial property management.
With a growing portfolio of high-quality office, industrial, and retail assets, they are seeking to appoint an ambitious and experienced Senior Commercial Property Manager to play a key role in their continued growth.
The Role
This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced property professional to:
- Take ownership of a diverse commercial portfolio
- Collaborate closely with institutional landlords, occupiers, and internal stakeholders
- Drive asset performance
- Build long-term client relationships
- Deliver exceptional service across all aspects of property management
The role provides autonomy, exposure to high-value assets, and the chance to work within a forward-thinking business that leverages innovation and technology to improve outcomes for clients and occupiers.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio & Property Management
- Manage a portfolio of commercial properties spanning office, industrial, and retail sectors
- Oversee daily operational management, ensuring high standards of property upkeep
- Maintain full compliance with statutory obligations, health & safety legislation, and environmental requirements
- Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, facilities management, and capital works with specialists
- Conduct regular property inspections; implement improvement initiatives where necessary

Client & Occupier Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a range of landlord clients and occupiers
- Develop and sustain strong client relationships through ongoing communication and strategic advice
- Manage tenant enquiries, lease events, assancements, licences, and alterations
- Deliver exceptional occupier experiences to drive long-term retention and service excellence
Financial Management
- Oversee service charge budgets, annual reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Monitor rent collection, arrears, and overall portfolio performance
- Produced accurate management reports; provide strategic recommendations to clients
- Identify ways to enhance operational efficiency and maximise asset value
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Embrace technology and property management systems to optimize performance
- Use real-time data and reporting for effective decision-making
- Drive improvements in processes, client reporting, and service delivery

About You
The ideal candidate will be:
- Experienced in commercial property management (minimum 5 years)
- Familiar with managing multi-let office, industrial, and retail portfolios
- Preferred to hold an MRICS qualification
- Well-versed in commercial leases, Landlord & Tenant legislation, service charge management, and health & safety compliance
- Possess strong client-facing, communication, and negotiation skills
- Comfortable with property management software and embracing technology for efficiency
- Commercially minded, proactive, and highly organised with strong multitasking abilities
