Commercial Property Manager
Service Charge / Property Manager (Commercial Property)

Up to £55,000 + Benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Property Surveyor or Service Charge professional to join a well-established property business.
This role would suit candidates from backgrounds in Commercial Property Management, Service Charge Management, Property Surveying, Lease Advisory, or Service Charge Accounting, with a strong understanding of commercial property operations, lease obligations and service charge processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyse service charge budgets, reconciliations, and supporting expenditure
- Assess lease provisions relating to service charge recoverability and landlord obligations
- Investigate and resolve service charge queries and discrepancies
- Liaise with managing agents, landlords, surveyors, and other stakeholders regarding service charge matters
- Review financial and property documentation to ensure compliance with lease terms and industry standards
- Prepare reports and recommendations based on findings and analysis
- Support a range of commercial property portfolios across office, retail, and mixed-use assets

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience within:
- Commercial Property Management
- Property Surveying
- Service Charge Management
- Service Charge Accounting

Strong understanding of commercial leases, service charge administration, and related processes

Experience reviewing service charge budgets and year-end reconciliations

Knowledge of landlord and tenant matters

Familiarity with RICS Service Charge Professional Standards

Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Strong Excel skills and attention to detail

MRICS qualification is advantageous but not essential
