Commercial Property Solicitor – NQ to 5 years PQE – Barwells
Location
Seaford or Eastbourne offices
Description
We are expanding our Commercial Property team and we are looking for an experienced, proactive and highly organised solicitor based at either our Seaford or Eastbourne offices, with some homeworking available.
What You Will Be Doing
Advising both tenants and landlords on commercial property matters, including:
- Commercial property sales and purchases
- Lease renewals
- Grants of new leases – acting for either landlord or tenant
- Serving of formal notices
- Landlord and Tenant Act 1987, sales and purchases and advice, acting for either landlord or tenant
- Lease Extensions

Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will be an NQ to 5 years PQE and have experience in all aspects of commercial property law with the ability to manage a wide range of property transactions independently. Strong business development skills are essential as are excellent negotiation, drafting, commercial awareness and communication skills. With an emphasis on high quality client service you should be able to clearly demonstrate the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships. Attention to detail and ability to understand client requirements and meet deadlines is essential.
