Commercial Property Solicitor - Manchester - £70,000 + 30% Bonus + Exceptional Benefits
An outstanding opportunity for a Commercial Property Solicitor (3–6 PQE) to join a large and growing North West law firm (Manchester Office) renowned for its high-quality real estate work and genuinely people-first culture. This role is ideal for an ambitious associate looking to step into a supportive, progressive and flexible environment, where quality of work is matched by quality of life.
The firm has built a strong and expanding presence across the North West, acting on high-calibre transactions for developers, investors and corporate clients across the region. Importantly, it combines the quality and scale of work you’d expect from a larger national platform with a culture that prioritises wellbeing, collaboration and long-term development.
This is a rare opportunity to join a firm where you are genuinely trusted, supported and given the platform to grow without the pressures often associated with traditional private practice.
The Role:
- Advising on a broad range of commercial property matters including acquisitions, disposals and landlord & tenant work
- Supporting development and investment transactions nationally
- Drafting and negotiating leases, agreements for lease and related documentation
- Managing your own caseload with strong partner support where needed
- Working closely with experienced lawyers on high-value and complex transactions
- Building strong client relationships within a well-established regional client base
- Contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
