Commercial Real Estate Analyst/Associate Level - Boutique based Bank
Martis Search are representing a boutique-based Banking organisation to a hire a permanent “Commercial Real Estate Analyst/Associate level ” within Commercial Real Estate division.
This is an excellent new growth-role opportunity and will provide support to the Real Estate Relationship Manager.
The Relationship Management Associate Level is responsible for assisting with Credit Analysis, Customer Due Diligence, Deal Management as well as portfolio monitoring and client servicing duties throughout the whole lifecycle.
This is a hands-on role within a small team, offering strong opportunities for learning and development. The chosen incumbent should have a minimum of 3–5 years’ experience within Commercial Banking, Real Estate Finance, or Corporate Banking.
Responsibilities
Support the Relationship Manager in building, maintaining, and developing strong client relationships. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, handling day-to-day enquiries and service-related matters. Coordinate client information requests and ensured all required documentation was completed accurately and efficiently. Assist in identifying opportunities to strengthen existing client relationships and enhance client engagement. Consistently deliver a high standard of client service, ensuring client needs were met promptly and professionally. Monitor commercial real estate portfolio. Support the completion of annual credit reviews and periodic lending assessments. Monitor facility expiry dates, covenant testing deadlines, and review schedules to ensure timely compliance. Identified and escalate potential risks, covenant breaches, and issues to support effective risk management. Assist in the preparation of portfolio reports and management information, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Perform customer onboarding and periodic KYC/CDD reviews. Conduct customer risk assessments in line with the firm’s policies. Maintain customer files and ensure they are up to date and accurate. Support and monitor events. Assist with the Compliance process covering AML, Financial Crime and Sanctions as well as work closely with MLRO, Compliance and other key stakeholders. Attend and participate in client meetings as required, providing assistance and support to relationship management duties.

Required Qualifications:

Degree-educated. Professional banking qualifications are preferred but not essential. Formal qualifications in Compliance-related areas, including AML, Compliance, or Financial Crime, are advantageous. Strong understanding of the Credit process and Corporate Banking lending. Good analytical and financial assessment skills Strong attention to detail
