Commercial Real Estate Associate | NQ - 2 PQE | West End | Chambers, Spears & Legal 500 Ranked
This is an outstanding opportunity to join one of London's leading Commercial Real Estate teams within a highly regarded Top 70 West End law firm. If you are a Commercial Real Estate Solicitor with up to 2 years' PQE looking to build your career in a market-leading practice, this role offers exposure to exceptional quality work, outstanding clients and genuine long-term progression.
Joining one of the largest specialist Real Estate teams in the London market, you will work alongside highly regarded Partners on a broad range of sophisticated commercial property transactions, benefiting from close supervision, early responsibility and a collaborative environment designed to accelerate your development.

The Team

The team acts for an outstanding client base including institutional investors, property companies, developers, investment funds, lenders, housing associations, landed estates, charities, occupiers, overseas investors and high-net-worth individuals. They regularly advise on investment acquisitions and disposals, complex mixed-use developments, corporate occupier requirements, joint ventures, portfolio transactions and high-value regeneration projects across the UK.
The practice is particularly well known for its partner-led approach, technical excellence and commercially focused advice. Lawyers benefit from close collaboration across the firm's market-leading Private Wealth, Corporate and Construction teams, enabling them to work on complex, multidisciplinary matters while developing broad commercial expertise.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Real Estate Associate (NQ-2 PQE) to join one of London's premier real estate practices.
You will advise on a broad range of high-quality commercial real estate matters, including:
- Commercial property acquisitions and disposals
- Mixed-use and residential development projects
- Commercial lettings and asset management
- Landlord and tenant matters
- Development and regeneration work
- Portfolio transactions
- Investment property matters
- Corporate occupier work
- Real estate aspects of wider corporate transactions
A significant focus of the role will involve acting for a major national housing association on a variety of complex commercial property matters. Whilst previous experience within the social housing sector would be advantageous, it is by no means essential, and the team welcomes candidates with strong commercial real estate experience from comparable City or leading regional firms.
This role provides an exceptional platform to develop your technical expertise while working closely with experienced Partners on high-profile transactions for an enviable client base. As the team continues to grow, there will be excellent opportunities to take on increasing responsibility, develop client relationships and progress your career within one of London's leading real estate practices.

The Ideal Candidate
- England & Wales qualified solicitor with NQ-2 years' PQE in Commercial Real Estate.
- Suitable for trainees who are set to qualify in September 2026 with exceptional backgrounds!
- Experience gained within a respected City, West End or leading regional law firm.
- Exposure to commercial property acquisitions and disposals, development work and landlord and tenant matters.
- Experience of mixed-use developments or commercial lettings would be advantageous.
- Strong technical ability with excellent drafting and analytical skills.
- Commercially minded with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Organised, proactive and capable of managing competing priorities within a busy practice.
- A collaborative team player with a genuine enthusiasm for Commercial Real Estate.
