Commercial Real Estate Paralegal | Birmingham
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join the Birmingham office of a leading international law firm. This is a fantastic chance to become part of a highly regarded Real Estate team, working on high-profile transactions for a portfolio of well-known corporate occupier clients.
This role offers genuine responsibility from the outset, with the opportunity to work closely with experienced lawyers on a broad range of commercial property matters while developing your technical expertise and client-facing skills.
You'll be involved in a varied caseload, supporting the team on a range of commercial real estate transactions, including:
- Lease renewals, surrenders and licences
- Acquisitions and disposals
- Title investigation and review of property searches
- Preparing completion documentation
- SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
- Liaising with clients, agents, solicitors and other stakeholders throughout transactions
- Providing day-to-day support on estate management matters for a diverse corporate client base

This is a fast-paced role offering excellent exposure to complex commercial property work within a collaborative and supportive environment.
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Previous experience as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal or Legal Assistant.
- Ideally, experience acting for corporate occupiers (tenant-side work) rather than purely landlord-side transactions.
- Strong knowledge of commercial property processes and documentation.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive, team-focused approach and a willingness to take ownership of your work.
- Strong communication skills and confidence building relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
