Commercial Property Solicitor – Regional Opportunity Near Harrogate

LC Legal is thrilled to partner with an innovative, esteemed regional firm near Harrogate, seeking to appoint a Commercial Property Solicitor.

The Role
You will advise a broad client base—SMEs, founder-led businesses, and high-growth companies across multiple sectors—on commercial property transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise landlords, tenants, and business occupiers on all aspects of leasehold matters, including:
- Negotiation of new leases, renewals, licences, assignments, and related agreements
- Act on acquisition and disposal of commercial property assets
- Manage entire transactions from initial instruction to completion
- Support corporate transactions, including:
- Real estate considerations in acquisitions, disposals, investments, and restructuring
- Provide practical and commercially focused guidance on:
- Lease interpretation
- Service charge disputes
- Dilapidations
- Occupational issues
- Take full ownership of transactions, coordinating with:
- Clients
- Agents
- Lenders
- External advisers
- Ensuring smooth, efficient progression
- Foster strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser as clients grow
- Collaborate with Corporate, Commercial, Employment, IP and Data Protection teams for seamless, integrated solutions
- Contribute to business development efforts, including:
- Networking
- Client events
- Marketing
- Relationship-building initiatives

About You
This role is ideal for solicitors with:
- 5+ years post-qualification experience (PQE), with a specialisation in commercial property
- Experience managing an independent caseload, with an appropriate level of autonomy in client relationships
- A commercially astute mindset, with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and client service
- An interest in business development and a desire to support the firm’s practice growth
