Join us as a Commercial Relationship Manager in Asset Finance Lombard This is an opportunity for a Commercial Relationship Manager to take on an exciting new career challenge We’ll look to you to originate, grow and retain existing customer relationships to support the development of our customer base You’ll have the chance to build and maintain a wide network of stakeholders You’ll be expected to work from the Rotherham office up to two days each week This role does not meet UK Skilled Worker sponsorship requirements What you'll do In this telephony based role, you’ll be providing customer focused asset finance solutions, while building and maintaining internal relationships to generate incremental new business. You’ll also be: Executing the contact strategy to generate business volume, including managing internal relationships in the bank and existing customer relationships Developing an understanding of customer needs and structuring a deal appropriately Providing customer centric solutions through an understanding of products and services and an awareness of the external marketplace to meet customer needs Making sure existing active relationships lead to customer referrals and repeat business The skills you'll need To succeed in this role, you’ll need knowledge and experience of all sales processes and policies, along with an awareness of asset finance and the external autos market. You’ll also need experience of sharing and implementing best practices through engagement and support of continuous improvement activity across the business. Ideally, you’ll already have the Certificate in Lending Skills qualification. If you don’t, we'll also support you to achieve this qualification through the Chartered Banker Institute within 18 months of starting in the role. You’ll also demonstrate: The ability to work on your own initiative, setting own priorities and working to defined deadlines The ability to maintain clear and accurate documentation and adhere to sales processes and procedures A flexible approach to working with other teams What else you need to know We’re here for our customers when it’s most convenient for them so you’ll need to work flexibly. Hours: Full time – 35 hours You’ll typically be working 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday You'll have a holiday entitlement of 36 days (pro rata for hours worked), you may be required to work Bank Holidays. How we'll reward you Salary: £30,855 per year (pro rata for hours worked) You’ll join on a competitive salary of £30,855 and in addition you’ll receive a contribution to help you save for retirement.
