FRS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Commercial Ruminant Nutritionist on behalf of a leading animal nutrition business that exports to over 60 countries worldwide. This is a full-time permanent role based in Northern Ireland.
Our client is a leading premix and feed additive company. Operating from two GMP-accredited manufacturing facilities in Ireland, the company exports to over 60 countries worldwide. Due to continued expansion in Northern Ireland, our client is looking to add an additional member to the team.
Role Objective
To develop and support the nutritional business in Northern Ireland and the border counties, combining commercial development with hands-on technical nutritional expertise.
Duties
- Support the growth and development of the company's Feed Mill business.
- Develop sales of premix and feed additives to both existing and new customers.
- Work closely with the technical team to deliver new product development and market solutions.
- Attend industry technical meetings on a regular basis.
- Identify, build, and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders whose support could increase market share and enhance the company's reputation.
- Take responsibility for organising and collating trial data as deemed appropriate.
- Liaise with the wider team to ensure the continued growth of the business.
- Travel to customer meetings and trade events as required.

Education & Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years' relevant industry experience.
- Agricultural or Science degree; a research background is desirable.
- Previous experience as a commercial nutritionist, with an established network in the industry, would be a distinct advantage.
- Experience working in a technically focused sales organisation.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.

Remuneration
- Attractive basis salary of £60000 to £70000 + 15% bonus.
- Pension and Healthcare.
