Join our Offshore Service Sales Team at Siemens Energy
We are looking for an enthusiastic Commercial Sales Manager to join our dedicated Offshore Service Sales team. The role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, driving some of the biggest and most complex renewable energy projects globally. You’ll collaborate closely with customers to negotiate financial and commercial outcomes, create compelling proposals, engage with management and stakeholders, and contribute to growing the wind industry.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Oversee high-value service and maintenance contracts concurrently
- Work alongside the Sales Director and Sales Project Manager to formulate and execute sales strategy, assuming ownership of all commercial elements (such as currency risk management, financial security, payment terms, insurance, export control, and compliance)
- Lead preparation and authorship of commercial and financial documents during sales and bidding phases
- Develop commercial negotiation strategies for terms and conditions
- Conduct analysis, annotation, and markup of terms and conditions with commercial and financial implications
- Proactively negotiate project terms and conditions in conjunction with relevant departments, including Legal, Insurance, Trade Finance, Finance & Tax, Export Control & Customs, Operations, and Logistics
- Perform commercial evaluation of risks and opportunities faced by projects
- Align customer business case impacts with project developments, particularly in energy agency provisions
- Prepare and present project-specific sales forecasts and budgets to executive management, while collaborating with the commercial team to streamline processes and implement best practices

What You Bring
We seek a candidate driven by a passion for renewable energy and the conviction that together we can lead the energy transition. Required attributes include:
- Holistic knowledge of customer business cases, with preference for experience in energy sector projects
- Proven commercial contract management skills, particularly in negotiations and sales within the energy or construction industries
- Strong interpersonal abilities and aptitude for operating in a collaborative environment, alongside multitasking to meet deadlines
- Skill in simplifying technically dense topics for high-level stakeholders and customers under pressure
- Intimate understanding of:
- Cost calculation approaches and financial methods
- Complex financial topics: bonds, escalation clauses, currency risks, indemnities, liabilities, etc.
- Ability to manage projects effectively, ensuring results are delivered on time and within scope
- Proficiency in fluent oral and written English
- International experience and a willingness to travel (up to 25% of the time) to support a global role
- Legal eligibility to work without sponsorship in the country of employment
- A degree—preferably in business administration, finance, or law
