The UK's largest online retailer is looking for an experienced Commercial Solicitor to join its in-house legal team based in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercial lawyer with a strong background in retail, e-commerce, and/or brand protection to make a significant impact in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Advise on a wide range of commercial contracts, including supply agreements, marketing agreements, and IT contracts.
- Support the business on strategic projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and new business initiatives.
- Manage and protect the company's intellectual property portfolio.
- Provide legal and compliance advice on a variety of matters, including advertising standards, data protection, and consumer law.
- Liaise with external counsel as required.

Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales (or equivalent qualification).
- Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in commercial law, preferably within a retail or e-commerce environment.
- Strong understanding of commercial contracts, intellectual property, and brand protection.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in data protection and consumer law is a plus.
