Commercial Solicitor
Remote (UK-based) | Full-time
We’re looking for a solicitor who’s confident in their judgment, curious by nature, and believes in alternative legal services.
At Lawyerly, we’ve moved away from billable hours and hidden fees, offering small and medium-sized businesses clear, fixed-fee subscriptions instead. Our clients see us as their in-house legal team, on hand when they need us and proactive when it matters. They rely on us for professional advice, practical thinking, and being a trusted partner they can grow with.
This is a fully remote role for someone based in the UK. You’ll work independently but closely connected to a small, focused team. You’ll take the lead on client matters, build trusted relationships, and help shape how legal services are delivered in a smarter, more human way.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
