About the Role
At Aston Martin, our Commercial and Digital Technology function plays a critical role in enabling business transformation across customer, dealer, and enterprise platforms. By delivering scalable, innovative solutions, the team supports both operational excellence and long-term commercial growth.
We are looking for a Commercial Solution Architect to shape and guide the technical direction of our Commercial and Digital platforms. This is a strategic role, acting as the link between business vision and technical delivery, ensuring that new initiatives are scalable, aligned to enterprise architecture, and deliver meaningful business value.
Working closely with Product, Digital, Engineering, and IT teams, you will define end-to-end solutions and provide architectural leadership across complex, enterprise-wide initiatives.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will play a key role in shaping technology solutions from the earliest stages, working with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into clear, well-defined architectural approaches.
This role involves designing end-to-end solutions across a range of enterprise platforms, including CRM and ERP systems, APIs, integrations, web platforms, and wider enterprise ecosystems. You will ensure that all solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards and long-term technology strategy.
You will assess the impact of proposed changes across systems, data models, processes, and customer experiences, ensuring decisions are informed and risks are understood. Throughout delivery, you will act as a trusted advisor, guiding teams through complexity and balancing short-term delivery needs with long-term platform sustainability.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Strong stakeholder management is key. You are able to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, building alignment across teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
You will also bring experience working within structured governance frameworks, supporting architectural assurance and delivery processes, while maintaining a pragmatic and outcome-focused approach.
A degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience is expected. Exposure to architecture frameworks (such as TOGAF), Agile delivery, or ITIL practices would be beneficial.
