A leading financial services organisation is looking to appoint a Commercial Strategy Manager to join a high profile strategic function, working closely with senior leadership to shape, prioritise and deliver key commercial initiatives across the business.
This is a role that sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, combining commercial thinking, cross-functional delivery and senior stakeholder engagement. You will help turn strategic priorities into clear plans, challenge assumptions and ensure delivery against agreed commercial outcomes.
What you'll be doing
- Driving delivery of strategic commercial initiatives across the business
- Turning strategy into clear plans, milestones and outcomes
- Working with technology, product and commercial teams to support execution
- Challenging assumptions and helping shape commercial decisions
- Overseeing governance, planning and risk across key initiatives
- Defining and tracking commercial performance measures and delivery milestones
- Producing concise, board-level updates for senior stakeholders
- Partnering with senior leadership on strategic planning and decision-making

What we're looking for
- Background in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, commercial strategy or business transformation
- Strong track record of delivering complex initiatives in large organisations
- Strong commercial understanding of pricing, commercial models or revenue generation
- Experience working with and influencing senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery

Experience gained within financial services, market data, information services or another complex commercial environment would be advantageous, although candidates from a broad range of consulting and corporate strategy backgrounds will be considered.
