Overview

The Commercial Support Analyst supports the Commercial Operations team in delivering Screwfix's promotional and commercial plans through accurate reporting, data analysis, and administrative support, helping ensure activity is planned and executed effectively.

Working closely with teams across Commercial, Pricing, Supply Chain, and Front of House, you'll help coordinate key activities, maintain accurate reporting, and contribute to continuous improvements that support the successful delivery of promotions and commercial initiatives.

This role is a 6-month fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Promotions Analyst and Promotional Planning Managers with verifying the nomination forecasts.
  • Space Assessment project working closely with the FOH Team to identify permanent physical promo space – Dump Bins, Dump Stacks, AOV.
  • Working closely with Promotional Planning Managers to shape the new calendar and customer plan for 2027 utilizing data and analysis as to which categories gain priority status and when.
  • Work closely with Pricing and Ranging teams to effectively communicate change governance processes and effective reporting.
  • Provide support and cover for the other coordinators with annual leave or where business-critical deadlines require.
  • Day-to-day administrative tasks as required.
  • Play an active role in team meetings and support with capture of agreed actions and minutes.
  • Regularly review processes and ways of working within the area of responsibility and proactively make suggestions for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Confident user of Microsoft Excel, with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and create accurate reports.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • A collaborative team player who uses initiative and demonstrates diplomacy when working with others.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
